Moments of Joy

swimming in someone’s heart. We take a carousel ride, ever
in converse, semi-finding ourselves. It’s joyful nectar,
trekking through gardens, an orgasmic affair. It’s so subtle,
to pluck a petal, quasi-religious. Thoughts of love, flower a
pot, cuddling near a fireside. At other moments, it’s a
chilled beverage, shared with a loving friend. Voices are
alert, ever emphatic, filled with gesticulations. We ponder
proudly, storing voiceprints. Suffering intensifies
appreciation. A deep knowledge of love, children, home, and
life. It’s similar to losing a love one. We seek comfort, where
friendships bear weight, enriched from experience. Ever
again, chants are blazing, chills are felt, where Spirit breathes.
We value such moments, aloof to let go, singing in a shower.
