Compacted Humanity


when two are ignited or embedded seams, they worry. this gentle shore, those peaceful pelicans, those nautical torrents; to live is to love to die is to invest while souls are carried away. I look or see a shift I laugh but eyes water, so suddenly such a second where life is on pause. the destitute desert, those steep barks, the leaves or veins or underbrush. sore firebrand to sense breakage or to need Love again: at recommitment, at thorough pledges, if but to secure those first ten dates; our bodies wheezing our asthmatic minds, or psychosomatic ruminations. but a person is sick, a person is healed, we become so dependent. as musical ornaments or classical poets or so romanced its difficult to gasp; our moving souls our motion minds while it hurt to see those tears. to give affection to adore the obligation or to ignore certain irrationalities: suffused with power, standing a war-field, with passion so close it devastates. our time as unclear, our devotion as sighted, while we add blocks to our brick house. our extended powers our volts or riches while so soon to purchase an heirloom. angst to adore is compassion to scream where negligence seems inauthentic. if but our guts such as gorilla glue or our hearts smelted gold—to steer the helm to share the wheel into life with certainties; so bold my claim but something’s unmeasured, the force of love.
