Passing Swiftly

 

by the stature, not mere differences, aside for dear integrity. the likeness of a jaguar, the beauty of a tiger, the anxiety of a cheetah.

it feels unlikely, I would believe. so many scruples—appearing in monocles, splayed upon a cross.

settle into life, open with grace, shiver with deliverance.

so clever the ache, so esteemed the arc, wolverines in flesh; moving in circles, cautious of whereabouts, protecting its sanctity.

pure rapture, revving excitement, adrift, soon to pardon hope.

vibrations drizzling, happiness with provisions, souls shattered, pieces glued together—as never again, so entrenched, so drastic, one last kiss.

oh elegant jewel, most pristine, doing things with sanity; used, created, a creature with skies.

upon an eyelash, to build a crush, baptized with glasses on; so hectic the force, so extreme the art, at differences seeming similar.

the misfortune of surprises, the portfolio of glamour, so tender upon a scar; trenchant souls, a dear caress, reformed in trouble.

torn asunder, too gorgeous for keeps, a soul trying desperately.
