Humble Forgiveness

 

the best of the bundle, the lion out the cave, the sabertooth soul.

a lady in skies, wilder than faith, like raiding the Canaanites; it’s ours, the Promise, doing laps around Jericho.

grant forgiveness, Jesus, take my grave, Jesus, likes form dislikes, Jesus.

so battled inside, it’s pathological, it’s amazing how parents raised us.

broken nerves, false joys, a picture on a phone; so much mud, bloody dirty, trying heaven!

dreams on a scale, a whale as a future, like careful to offend the elephant.

so much felt in states, a mind clever to avoid itself, many don’t know what sanity requires:

a can of denial, a vat of abuse, a snakelike mirror.

so deceived, it seems apropos, our reasons for omitting evidence; sipping music, long live the artists, tides with tides lost in terrors.

pathetically happy, savage niceness, or forbidden ecstasy.

trips to esoteria, a woman as a king, a man as witness.

maybe an infant runs the house, forbade from liquor, laughing, longing, broad daylight.

at an ottoman kneeling, the wife watching, possessing everything to make it right.

depend on minds, wise souls, sliding into a cemetery.
